Hey everyone, I've been hanging out here for a while and thought it was time that I made a post.

I'm a third year Journalism major up at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. I'm really into music journalism and international correspondence, and am currently in a dilemma about which I should choose. Both are definitely competitive fields, and I write both national articles and music articles for the school paper, and love doing both.

I used to run an online music magazine, but stopped that last fall 'cause school got too crazy. I might start it up again before the end of the summer and try to keep up with it when school starts in the fall. I listen to pretty much anything (so long as it's good, haha).

As far as favourite writers go, I love Lester Bangs' stuff (but who doesn't, honestly?), I read Pitchfork, and NME, and outside of the music journalism stuff, I like Haroon Siddiqui who writes for the Toronto Star.

Anyway, that's pretty much it; just thought I'd introduce myself. Peace!
